Discover a Faster, More Efficient Road to Recovery

Get Back in the Game.

The team at KINISI specializes in injury rehabilitation treatment and strength and conditioning for female athletes. Our state-of-the-art facility provides athletes with exceptional, personalized care so they can get back in the game, stronger and healthier than before.

We bridge the gap between injury and returning to sports participation safely and efficiently. Each initial physical therapy evaluation includes an in-depth analysis consisting of a total body movement screen, an orthopedic examination, and functional/sport-specific testing measures geared toward your personal and performance goals. Each follow-up session will be one-on-one with a Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy who will determine the root cause of your pain and give you the tools to address these impairments with your goals in mind.

We are dedicated to helping athletes return to play at the highest level.

While traditional physical therapy helps with the initial rehabilitation after sustaining an injury or having surgery, a return to sports program helps you rebuild the strength needed to prevent re-injury. With our program, a licensed physical therapist will ensure that you’re ready to return to playing.

What do we TREAT?

At KINISI, we are experts in ACL rehabilitation and bone stress injuries.

ACL Injuries

Our clinicians specialize in ACL rehabilitation, prevention, and personalized return-to-sport training, regardless of your recovery stage. We conduct thorough assessments, including knee joint stability, range of motion, strength tests, hop tests, and cardiovascular fitness. Psychometric testing may also be used to evaluate psychological readiness. These evaluations enable us to create a customized rehabilitation program focused on restoring strength, stability, and confidence for a successful return to athletic performance.

Bone Stress Injuries

Bone stress recovery is crucial for female athletes prone to stress fractures due to hormonal and bone density issues. KINISI Physical Therapists perform comprehensive assessments, including bone density imaging, gait analysis, and muscular evaluations, to determine injury extent and causes. We develop personalized rehabilitation programs that focus on bone strength and biomechanical corrections while gradually reintegrating athletes into their sports and emphasizing injury prevention. Our holistic approach enhances long-term bone health and performance with tailored treatment plans for each athlete's unique recovery needs. Our experienced therapists offer one-on-one support to ensure optimal strength and health.

Therapeutic Treatment

Our program focuses on:

STRENGTH

The ability of a muscle or group of muscles to exert force against resistance. It is often measured by how much weight one can lift or how much force one can produce.

POWER

The rate at which work is performed or the rate of energy transfer. In physical terms, it combines both strength and speed, reflecting how quickly and forcefully one can perform an action. For example, jumping height or sprinting speed often measure power.

Agility

The ability to move quickly and easily, often involving rapid changes in direction. It combines speed, coordination, and balance, allowing one to navigate obstacles and adjust movements efficiently.

MOBILITY

The ability to move freely and easily through a full range of motion in the joints and muscles. Good mobility means that the body can move fluidly without restriction, which is crucial for overall physical function and performance.

Proprioception

The sense of the relative position of one’s own body parts and strength of effort employed in movement. It’s the body’s ability to sense where its limbs are in space, even without visual cues, which helps maintain balance and coordination.
